Kevin, do a parts/machining/labor breakdown. Also, if you sell it as a turn key engine rather than keeping the intake/valve cocers, that kinda turns people off. Just trying to help. May consider installing it for someone. Good stuff just isn`t selling right now, especially performance related items unless you want to give them away. _________________ DRDANSRACING.COM

ty kev my build is close to urs this time around. I doubt if theyll run the same though it would be nice. I dont know how much was done to ur heads that maybe a big factor though. John at rocket racing is doing my #6s with 2.08 1.71 valves. If i had 5gs id buy urs and have a 82 mid 11 sec cutty. Goodluck with sell. Look forward to seeing ur turbo buildup in the future. _________________ 355 More strip then street. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aarJHE3Rvz0 |

From what I have seen, Rocket Racing will do a great job with your heads. Believe it or not, I purchased my heads off of ebay about 7 years ago. I only smoothed up the port work that was already there, welded the exhaust divider out to the flange, installed some Manley Severe Duty valves and set them up for the current cam.
The devil is in the details I think when it comes to getting a combination to run well. I think this is a great deal for someone since it is a proven combination, just my opinion though
My personal turbo project is on hold for a little while, but hopefully the car will still make it to the track this year. There may be a surprise at the BOPC race here in Gainesville, but it is going to take a thrash to get it done by then. _________________ Kevin 78 Cutlass

I can't wait for that! I am going to make the drive up there from Sarasota. Maybe I will be driving the '88 H/O... _________________ The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is

Dammit, why can't this be in like 6 months...
Seriously, it would be sweet in my '78... _________________ The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is
