You may have seen some of my other posts. If you are interested, I will sell the complete driveline out of my car, engine (less intake, carb and valve covers ), the transmission, and the rear end. Before you ask, no I am not building a Chevy, just rebuilding the entire car for alot of power and this stuff no longer fits the bill.
The engine is a 355" SBO and you can catch most of the details of it here:
http://www.realoldspower.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=525
Since that post was made, the engine has been installed into ROP member "busdriver" 84 Cutlass and run a best of 11.43 @ 115.51 on the motor and 10.70 with a little bit of nitrous on it. Here is the video of each of those runs:
Sean 11.43 Motor Pass vs Mike 11.21 Pass
Sean 10.74 Nitrous Pass vs Mike 11.09 Pass
Couldnt find a video of the 10.70, so the 10.74 will have to do This combination should easily run 11s in about any G-body that is setup for the drag strip. Busdriver's car still has full interior, 100% stock brakes and only has a fiberglass hood so his car is no lightweight by any means. I honestly believe that with some tweaking and in a lighter car this combination could run 11.20s on the motor.
Asking $4000 for the engine, OBO.
Transmission is a TH400/375 (TH400 guts with a long TH350 sized tailshaft). It has a transbrake, Red Alto Clutches (extras in each gear), Kolene Steels, Aluminum Pan, Lokar Dipstick etc. A 3800 JW converter is available for some extra money over the asking price of the trans.
Asking $800 for the trans, OBO.
You have probably seen my post for the exhaust, but here it is again:
http://www.realoldspower.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=47973
If you are interested in the entire setup I have a few parts that will come with it for free. Stuff like an SFI transmission blanket, fabricated crossmember, proper length driveshaft, engine torque limiter, header and collector gaskets, and anything else I can that I will not need any longer.
Price for everything $4950 _________________ Kevin 78 Cutlass

That sure would be a nice rear for $1200.
Dang, I wish I had the cash... _________________ The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is

Yeah I tried to get my dad to buy a G-body, then we could stick all of this stuff in there and have cool project, but he didnt bite, doh!
Ur7x, dont worry, there is something better in the works
Cam is a custom solid flat tappet from Crane, .550ish intake lift, .570ish exhaust lift, 108LSA, 240ish @ .050 on the intake, 250ish @ .050 on the exhaust, solid lifters have the .025 hole lasered in the bottom of them for a constant forced oil supply to the cam lobe for long life.
It made 360rwhp the last time it was on the dyno with a loose converter, through the exhaust. I have been telling people its 450hp, but I am beginning to think it may be a little higher than that based off of what I have seen from other people who have had their engine on an engine dyno. If I still have it in a couple of years when we get out engine dyno I will throw it up on there and find out for sure. _________________ Kevin 78 Cutlass

Yes, there's interest, but as Chris just said, the timing is bad. I say you keep TTT until it sells. It could be a month or 6 months, but I bet it eventually sells. I would love to have it to go into the Buttless with a 6-speed... _________________ The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is
